Clonmel Town FC are delighted to partner with Parkrun next Saturday February 22nd for this wonderful weekly event.
Promoting fitness, participation and community, both Clonmel Town and Clonmel Parkrun have a lot in common so we are really looking forward to next Saturday.
Founded in 1963, Clonmel Town F.C. have been the standard bearers for football in Clonmel for over 60 years. Based in the Dr. Pat O'Callaghan Sports Complex on the Cashel Rd., Clonmel Town have recorded many great achievements over the years.
Our teams have won multiple Tipperary Leagues and Cups, 4 Munster Amateur Cups with the highlight coming in 1994 when the Club claimed their first National Title, the FAI Amateur Cup.
Today, Clonmel Town are a Club for everyone with boys and girls ranging from 6 years old right up to adults. There are over 20 teams competing in local and national competitions with a membership of 470 children and 130 adults.
The kids today are maintaining the Club's great tradition with the boys and girls teams' bringing lots of silverware back home to the Complex.
Please come out and support Parkrun run this Saturday February 22nd starting at 9.30am.
